Video Presentations and Clips

This page presents the viewer with video presentations and clips related to topics of import. They may be lengthy discussions from a C-SPAN sponsored event or brief pieces from a YouTube type of medium. The videos are designed to either shed light on a particular issue or advance the debate on contemporary events such as the War on Terror, global warming, or gay marriage, to name just a few possibilities. The pieces are also meant as supplemental material for topics presented and discussed in the courses I teach.

    Here are links to the debate on gay marriage held at Pace University in March 2007 and aired by C-SPAN2. They are “streamed” in three segments.

    Here are four links to the rebuttal of An Inconvenient Truth offered by one of the heads of the Competitive Enterprise Institute, a conservative think tank. C-Span2 aired the even in early March.
